We start off with the founder and passion behind Trifactri.
Lucie has a Masters Degree in Teaching: Sport & Biology, she also has a post-grad degree in coaching. She truly cares about each and every one of her athletes and believes in them more than they know. Lucie is the core of a very well established Sports Club.
Proudly East European - born and bred in Czech Republic. She always loved being outside and was an athlete almost since a day she was born. Swimmer first with occasional running races and eventually she found triathlon, ITU and Olympic distance first and long distance couple of years later. During my University years she found her passion for coaching and helping others to achieve their goals. She have over 20 years of coaching experience to date. In 2008 she was fortunate to find her second home here in South Africa and two years later Trifactri was born :)
And who is Lucie? - What you see is what you get kind of a person, honesty mixed with stubbornness and passion. Cats, chocolate and wine will always put smile on my face.
Her goals as a coach:
Lucie has experience in sport on the very top level, with all the lows and highs it can offer and she has worked with some of the best coaches in the industry like Brett Sutton. Coaching is no fluke when it comes to our next feature, Jess. She may seem young but she has tons of experience and passion for the sport of triathlon. Jess always puts the team first and prides herself in the process of making training fun. She has the ability to always make you feel ‘good enough’ and ‘strong enough’. She’s a real asset to our team of coaches.
She's always been addicted to sport, Attracted to the rush, the challenges and the friends you make along the way. The team spirit and support is something she thrives for and love to be a part of. She loved both team sports and individual sports as she was growing up and let's be real, individual sports like, swimming, diving, triathlon, running (and so many more) aren't really individual sports. You have an entire team around you. The people you train with who push you and motivate you during workouts and during races; your coach who puts in the time and effort to help you achieve your goals; your family and friends that stand on the side line and cheer you on while you're hurting. There is just so much to love.
As much as her life is all about coaching and triathlons, there are other hobbies which interest her as well. Painting and drawing, She finds it extremely therapeutic. Fishing is another hobby which she almost crave as well as visiting the bush and going hiking and camping. Loves the outdoors and just disappearing from the city to enjoy nature.
Qualifications and work experience:

Her future goals as an athlete/coach:
She want her athletes to have fun, achieve their goals and have a balanced life. Most team members have full time jobs, kids to get around, meetings, a social life and so much more. But triathlon is a lifestyle, not a job. She is always looking for ways to gain as much experience and knowledge as she can and reading up on the latest about all aspects of training.

Someone you never, ever mess with LB. She is the most bad-ass coach and so much fun to be around. LB is like a dictionary when it comes to sport; she has done this for years and has a wealth of knowledge which she is always willing to share. She is our resident “off-road” specialist as she dominates the MTB and trail world.
More about LB:
She is passionate, dedicated and honest in everything she does! All or nothing kind a gal! Her family means the world to her and she always put them first, triathlon and training is what keeps her sane!
Her future goals as a coach:
She understands the need to find meaning and freedom in her existence and what it means to find ourselves.
She owes her life to sport and subsequently triathlon, as it has helped her to channel her energy in a positive direction, to understand herself and to see others a little clearer than they sometimes see themselves! This has allowed her to be strong for others and to help guide them in their own personal quests of self-discovery and achievement through sport. She has experienced great setbacks and understand what is required when we need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start all over again.
